Post your hand-drawn artwork here. Whether they are pencil sketches, studies in ink, chalk, crayons, pastels or even full-blown paintings, you can scan or photograph them and post them here. In fact, almost anything that you have made with your own two hands, you can scan or photograph and post in this section.
Visual art has existed since the beginning of time; we had, even before we had developed proper languages, known how to appreciate the beauty of things seen. Before we had developed written languages, we were already drawing and painting in an attempt to replicate what we see around us – sometimes, to try and visualize what we would like to happen (catching the bison and the like). This section is dedicated to the traditional visual expressions as they began and evolved through the centuries.
Abstract or perfect copies, impressionist or dadaist, as long as you drew it, painted it, sculpted it, molded it, cut it, pasted it, or put it on mosaic, they are all welcome to be presented here in this section. Art that has been digitally altered will not be accepted in this section, simply because we have another section for that. Everything, save for the photographing and the scanning must be done by hand. No digital touch-ups, please, we want these appreciated in their natural state.
